Food Grade Silicone Hose

Our food grade silicone hose is rigorously certified for global food safety, meeting the strictest international standards. It fully complies with key European regulations including Food Contact Material Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, REACH, and the German LFGB standards. For the US market, the hose meets FDA requirements under 21 CFR 177.2600 and is rated for general-purpose food contact applications. This comprehensive certification ensures the highest level of food safety and suitability for use in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing equipment. 

Food-grade silicone hoses have wide applications in various fields due to their excellent properties (such as high temperature resistance, non-toxicity, good flexibility, etc.). The industry prospects are continuously improving along with the rise in health and environmental protection demands. 

FDA-compliant silicone hoses are food-grade silicone tubing cured with platinum. Rainbow additionally supplies FDA general-purpose grade braided silicone hoses.There are two weaving styles available for producing braided silicone hoses. Type 1# is a basic weaving type. Type 2# features a stretch-proof weaving design. When pulled with a force of 50 kilograms, the hose experiences little diameter shrinkage and remains securely attached to the connector. Generally, the second type (Type 2#) is utilized for shower room water tubing.
